drawings (series 2) - page 1
When you look at these pieces you will have a hard time believing they were done using colored pencil. I found a great artist pencil that produces extremely vibrant, solid color. They allowed me to play with various color schemes and have immediate, and extremely pleasing, results. Although my work is still based on the expressive, but simple, black contour line, I love the way color adds to the personality of these pieces. These were VERY fun to make!

The sizes of these pieces are more uniform than my first drawings due to the fact I Did NOT cut the paper myself. Size doesn’t...well, lets just say size wasn’t the issue with these.

And although I had a blast creating these pieces I will most likely take a break from using my new pencils for a while. I get so excited that I press way to hard and now I have a permanent tingle in the tip of my thumb. Any suggested cure for this??

*colors may not be exact! Differences in monitors and my lack of scanning expertise cause the VERY COOL and VIBRANT colors of the paper to vary HOWEVER these particular pieces scanned VERY NEAR perfect.
