The U.S. Surgeon General published a new Report on Preventing Tobacco Use Among Youth and Young Adults in February 2012. Cheryl Perry was the lead editor, assisted by many other prominent names in the tobacco control sciences. This 900+ page review of evidence can be downloaded at the link below.

Papers by our group on smoking prevention from the 1990s until recent years were strongly represented in the intervention chapter. A total of nine papers with first authors Flynn, Solomon, and Worden were cited 28 times in text and tables. The value placed on our work by authors of this review is a tribute to its high quality and continued relevance to advancement of public health.
