Comments on the Timeframe of the Vision

In ref. to Rachel's letter # 727:

You lost me with the date.....2100. I'm seventy three years old....my grandchildren will be old by this date.

The planet and its inhabitants need HELP NOW.! WE NEED THE VISION AND A PLAN,.....NOW.....

THE OCEANS, ANIMALS OF THE EARTH, PLANTS, ETC., NEED OUR HELP NOW... OVERPOPULATION IS A PROBLEM, NOWWWWWWW.

Maybe you need to change the name of the organization to EARTH-NOW. Don't bother me with 2100, it you take care of the earth NOW. 2100 will take care of itself.

Sincerely, Donna

I have just finished reading the ESDA. How long will it take to "flesh out this vision?" until 2100? ha!ha!

The visions of the future in 2100 sound healthy and livable, however what and when would things need to change to make this happen, in your opinion? Even though our envisioned future "does not require any fundamental changes in human natures or technology" our future could change. How long has man been alive and are we the same, psychologically speaking, as we were since the beginning of our history? I disagree that things, people and technology, can stay the same and over time, even a mere hundred years, society and our physical worlds would change for the better. It hasn't happened so far. I'll keep my mind peeled for updates on the vision and add my two cents, if they are worth it.

Thanks,

Nelda
