If you recall, we have developed the Allele Name Translation Tool (ANTT) and Update NomenCLature (UNCL) software tools for the automated conversion of allele names written under the current nomenclature to the new colon-delimited nomenclature that will go into effect in April.
The ANTT is a locally run application, while UNCL is a web-application; both tools will convert the allele-names in entire datasets to the new nomenclature.
We are pleased to let you know that the ANTT and UNCL are now available for use at:
http://www.igdawg.org/software.
Once again, thanks to those of you who participated in the beta-testing of the tools and offered helpful comments. We hope that the availability of the ANTT and UNCL will make the transition to the new nomenclature easier for everyone.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the tools.
Cheers,
Steve and Jill
