Definitions
The queer community offers a lot of new words and identities that many people, both within and outside of the queer community, may not be familiar with. The LGBTQA Services page offers a list definitions of the many words that are used in queer studies. This is a great resource to familiarize yourself with sometimes foriegn terms like heterosexism, MTF and bigendered. Click here to view this page.

Symbols
The queer community also uses a lot of symbols. Perhaps the two most common are the pride rainbow and the pink triangle, but there are many more. The LGBTQA Services page offers a list of the various queer symbols and their meanings. Click here to view this page.
