GLBT and Allies Program - This program is a supportive residential community for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students and their allies. Residents are committed to working together to end homophobia and heterosexism. The program is run through the department of Residential Life.

Free To Be, in coalition with
LGBTQA Services and the Women's Studies Program, is working on making a Queer Studies Minor available at UVM. Because no such thing currently exists, Queer classes are somewhat sparse. However, those that are available are excellent. They are:

The queer community offers a lot of new words and identities that many people, both within and outside of the queer community, may not be familiar with. The LGBTQA Services page offers a list definitions of the many words that are used in queer studies.
