In January, 1999, my family and I went
on a fabulous vacation. We started our trip in New Orleans.
In addition to observing the architecture, listening to the music, sampling
the food, going shopping and meeting people along Bourbon Street, the Home
of Jazz, there are wax museums, trolley cars and quaint antique shops.
Riverwalk, a modern and extensive shopping mall, is located right on the
pier where our ship was docked. From our
hotel, the Holiday Inn Express, we were able to walk directly to
the point of embarkation, which was an unexpected convenience.
