Goodbye New Orleans!
|
The cabin stewards made us welcome
by creating exotic animals out of towels, as well as leaving little useful
gifts on our beds, such as playing cards and sun screen. Don't go
to bed without enjoying the chocolate mint left on the pillow!

First Stop:
Montego Bay, Jamaica.
At each port of call travelers can
disembark and sightsee. The best way to do this in unfamiliar places
is to take a guided tour. The Cruise Director will have informational
sessions during the days at sea to acquaint you with tour availability,
as well as things to do and things not to
do during your stay. In Jamaica there were several tours that looked
exciting, but time only allowed one choice. The following pictures
are from our tour of Montego Bay. During the course of the tour we
were able to bargain with local craft vendors as well as visit a main shopping
area, and relax at Margaritaville. We then soaked up the sun at a
beautiful, sparkling clean, blue water beach.

Margaritaville is a bar / restaurant, mostly frequented by tourists. The most interesting feature of Margaritaville is a large slide that goes from the roof of the building down into the Carribbean Sea. The day that we were there, the slide was closed because the seas were rough. |
