Lynn Jungwirth - Executive Director

She has been an activist on social issues in forest towns for twenty years. She has worked with various community groups interested in rebuilding forest dependent communities in northern California. Currently she is co-owner of Jefferson State Forest Products. She served on the Collaborative Stewardship Taskforce of Forest Service Chief Mike Dombeck and on the Board of Directors for the National Network of Forest Practitioners. Lynn also chaired the Communities Committee of the 7th American Forest Congress from 1996 to 2000.
Nick Goulette - Research Associate & Local Stewardship Coordinator

Previously, he spent one year working in New York's Adirondack Park, northern New Hampshire, and western Maine marking timber sales and conducting forest inventory for a small private forestry firm. He earned a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Vermont (2004) with a concentration in Community-based Forestry. While in Vermont, he also worked as a Research Assistant for the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics studying characteristics of forest management planning in the state relative to ecological economic and sustainable forestry principles.
Annette Hale - Office Manager & Porject Assistant
Joined the WRTC in 2000; the possibility of working for an organization that retrains and educates community members in other areas of forestry was appealing. Her family has enjoyed working in the woods as loggers, equipment operators, timber fallers and mill workers, since they came to Hayfork in the early 1900's. Because the decline in the timber industry had affected my whole family, the idea that a center could stimulate the economic development of our community by creating jobs for friends & family, programs for my children and educational opportunities that did not exist in the past, gives Annette the incentive to continue the difficult journeys of the Watershed Center.

She participates in organizing the many programs the WRTC institutes. Rosalynd matriculated from California State's Chico University. She studied sustainable development within the Pacific Northwest region. Her other primary academic interests were international relations. She is a partner with the Sustainable Northwest Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition.
Nadya Novak - Program Coordinator

After finishing her formal education, she worked with the Fish and Wildlife Service monitoring sea birds on Tern Island. She also worked as an educational interpreter for the McKenzie National Forest in Oregon. Another job was working in the backcountry office of Yellowstone National Park. Another gainful employment was working for Firestorm in the capacity of forestry and fuel reduction work. At the WRTC, Nadya focuses primarily on fundraising for and coordination with the WRTC's Indian Valley Summer Camp and their Outdoor Adventure Club Live programs. She also helps with the WRTC's forestry projects.
