Section Description

In this graduate level course students will utilize a multi-disciplinary approach and multiple ways of knowing to explore the range of conditions that enable authentic conversations of possibility at the intersection of Climate Change and the Anthropocene. We will engage post humanist theories and ideologies as well as their source beyond Western thought. We will begin to chart the terrain of the “new” and unspeakable to discover practices and conditions for creating new mythologies for both a life affirming present and future. In this course, we will engage the archaeology of our own assumptions and beliefs so that we can individually and collectively experience the multiple conditions for awareness and transformation.
