Watershed Education Coordinator
Tori DesRocher is the Watershed Education Coordinator for Lake Champlain Sea Grant at SUNY Plattsburgh, where she inspires the next generation of environmental stewards through hands-on watershed and lake education programs for K–12 students, professional development for educators, and leadership of the New York Watershed Education internship program. Dedicated to connecting people with their local environment, she specializes in project-based learning, curriculum development, and fostering meaningful community connections through nature. Tori also serves on the Board of Directors for the New York State Outdoor Education Association, helping advance outdoor and environmental education and professional development across New York State. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Siena University and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Natural Resources and Ecology at SUNY Plattsburgh. In her free time, she enjoys cornhole, indoor and beach volleyball, and “herping” in the local streams.
