Jill Sarazen
Green Infrastructure Collaborative Coordinator
As the Green Infrastructure Collaborative Coordinator, Jill provides technical assistance and works with partners to develop and coordinate stormwater management trainings for natural resource professionals. Jill works closely with the Clean Water Initiative Program at the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation, which partially funds her position. Jill has a BA from Oberlin College and an MS in Plant and Soil Science from UVM, where she conducted research to evaluate the nutrient removal performance of bioretention cells and a denitrifying woodchip bioreactor. Jill has also worked in environmental education, as a lecturer at UVM, and held conservation field jobs in California and Oregon. In her free time, Jill enjoys skiing, mountain biking, triathlon training, and cooking.
