The Forest Health Indicators Dashboard is a data-driven, ecological monitoring tool that quantifies the condition of Vermont's forested ecosystems in simple terms that offer a more holistic view of the structure, function, and services our forests provide. Current conditions and long-term trends can be compared to threshold, or baseline values to help inform management and decision making to sustain this critical resource.
Ongoing scientific review panels will continue to modify and improve the data sets included in this dashboard, as well as their interpretation relative to historical or baseline “norms”. If you want to be involved please contact us at femc@uvm.edu
