What is the Northeastern Forest Inventory Network?

The Northeastern Forest Inventory Network (NEFIN) aggregates and standardizes continuous forest inventory (CFI) data from monitoring programs across the northeastern US into a consolidated online tool that allows users to visualize, filter, search and download data. NEFIN increases the useability of this disparate data and allows new and novel analysis of forest trends and drivers of forest growth and yield.

Take a look at the overview of the NEFIN data collection below, explore the data in depth using the interactive Data Visualization tool, filter and download data of interest using the Get Data tool or learn more about the NEFIN project.
