Explore the ideas of one of today's most important social critics, the Kentucky farmer/writer Wendell Berry. Over the past 60 years, through fiction, poetry and collections of brilliant essays, Berry has argued for a culture and economic system more rooted in community and the land. His thinking transcends the usual left/right divide and describes a path of humility that could help us navigate the critical challenges of our time. Discuss some of his work and its significance.
