Jazz Vocal Ensemble and Jazz Combo

The UVM Chromaticats and Jazz Vocal Ensemble present 'Kinds of Blues', a program exploring variations on the blues form by composers including Randy Weston, Bill Evans, Horace Silver and Dave Frishberg, as well as a blues-infused arrangement of a Prelude by J.S. Bach from the Well Tempered Clavier Book One. The program also features music by Stephen Sondheim, Henry Mancini, Duke Elllington, Billy Strayhorn, Erroll Garner and Pat Metheny. Directed by Tom Cleary and Amber deLaurentis. Free and open to the public.
