Regenerating the Future: The Crucial Role of Regenerative Agriculture in the future of Farms & Food with Dr. Allen Williams
Regenerative agriculture is more than a buzz word or trite phrase.  It has grabbed the attention of world governments, major corporations, institutions, and our global farming community.  The emerging data paints a picture of improved soil health, enhanced ecosystems, phytonutrient-rich foods, healthy people, and a healing climate.  The only question remaining is how do we impact the landscape to a larger extent in an expeditious manner?  We will discuss what we have learned, what the data is telling us, and the growing opportunities surrounding the Principles of Regenerative Agriculture.

Allen Williams is a 6th generation family farmer and founding partner of Grass Fed Insights, LLC, Understanding Ag, LLC and the Soil Health Academy. Allen pioneered many of the early regenerative grazing protocols and forage finishing techniques and now teaches those practices and principles to farmers globally. He is a ¿recovering academic¿, having served 15 years on the faculty at Louisiana Tech University and Mississippi State University. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science from Clemson University and a Ph.D. in Livestock Genetics from LSU. He has authored more than 400 scientific and popular press articles, and is an invited speaker at regional, national, and international conferences and symposia.
