The UVM Symphony Orchestra¿s April Concert features some of the greatest orchestral works. The concert will begin with two movements from the ballet Coppelia by Leo Delibes followed by Mahler¿s Symphony No.4, featuring the winner of this year¿s concerto competition Sadie Jones ¿22 as the soprano soloist. Global Warming is by Michael Abels, who composed for Jordan Peele's award-winning films Us and Get Out. Hailed as ¿stunningly beautiful,¿ Water Reflection" depicts images reflected on the water. The concert will conclude with the last movement of Johannes Brahms¿ powerful Symphony No. 1. Yutaka Kono, conductor. Free and open to the public.
