Participants will read very short stories, including Aesop, Kafka, Jean Toomer, Grace Paley, Thomas Bernard, Donald Barthelme, Lydia Davis, A.L. Snijders, Robert J. Lennon, Osama Alomar, and Mary Ruefle. Dedicate part of the class to write and share short stories of your own.
