(OLLI AT UVM PRESENTS) Reading Workshop: Supreme Court Matters--Past, Present, and Future with Rebecca Starks

We will discuss readings centered on the Supreme Court and its role in shaping our society. We will look at the court's origins, its history, and a few of its landmark decisions, especially surrounding civil rights, women's rights, and LGBTQ rights; we will address its current makeup; and we will try to imagine its future. Please set aside time for a reading assignment the week before the first class.
