Symphony Orchestra

We invite you to embark on a stellar musical voyage! The program unfolds with French composer Louise Farrenc¿s spirited Overture No. 1, setting the stage for an evening of enchantment. Ney Rosauro¿s dazzling Marimba Concerto, featuring Luke Nawrocki, our UVM Symphony Concerto Competition winner, will captivate your senses. Jean Sibelius¿s Spring Song blooms with delicate harmonies, evoking the awakening of nature after winter¿s slumber. Finally, John Williams¿ iconic film score, Star Wars Suite, takes us to a galaxy far, far away. Conducted by Yutaka Kono. Free and open to public.
