BIO

I am conducting my dissertation work with Dimitry Krementsov, Ph.D. and I am focusing on characterizing a microprotein with protective effects in sepsis. After graduating from UVM in 2018, I stayed on as a technician, initially working with my undergraduate research mentors, Paula Deming, Ph.D. and Eyal Amiel, Ph.D., followed by a brief stint in the Krementsov lab. As a lifelong Vermonter, I enjoy skiing, hiking, and exploring new restaurants and breweries.

Area(s) of expertise

Functional characterization of microproteins in innate immune cells
