BIO
I am a PhD candidate in Dev Majumdar's lab, where I study coronaviruses and their interactions with the host cell. I have a general interest in understanding virus-host interactions and the translation of such knowledge into the production of vaccines and antivirals. I obtained my BSc and MSc from the University of Ghana in 2014 and 2016 respectively, and for about 4 years I served as a Research Assistant at the West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP), where I was part of an international consortium interested in studying the dynamics of filovirus and henipavirus infections in bats in Ghana.
