BIO

I am conducting my dissertation research in the labs of Drs. Paula Deming and Bebo Seward. My dissertation project focuses on the metabolic enzyme and tumor suppressor STK11, and the biology of it's non-catalytic C-terminal domain. My project focuses on using a biochemical approach to classify mutations within this region of  STK11 for pathogenicity.

Area(s) of expertise

Functional Characterization of C-terminal polybasic motif STK11 Variants
