BIO

I am conducting my dissertation research in the lab of Dr. John Salogiannis in the department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics. My research focuses on molecular mechanisms of microtubule-based transport, including a novel mechanism of Endoplasmic Reticulum transport called "hitchhiking" and dynein regulation by a Parkinson's Disease-linked kinase called LRRK2. In my spare time, I enjoy weightlifting and spending time with my husband and family.
