On November 5 at 6 pm CT, Sedera will walk the Marbleseed community through an alternative to health insurance, a cost-share program. If you become a Marbleseed member by supporting Marbleseed at any amount, you will have access to Sedera's offerings.
The webinar will cover three buckets of information:
- Intro to Sedera and the basics of cost-share
- Everyday care (visits, labs, generic prescriptions) through TRU, with a doctor you can actually reach and cash prices you can see. No claim, no EOB, no prior authorization
- The big, unexpected stuff (surgery, a hospital stay) through Sedera Prime+, a medical cost sharing community. Members share each other's large bills directly, and those bills get negotiated down before they're shared.
Sedera isn't insurance, and there are important trade-offs: sharing is voluntary; there are limits on pre-existing conditions, and it isn't the right fit for everyone. Yet, at a time when health insurance premiums are skyrocketing, Sedera may provide an alternative option for farmers and their families. Marbleseed encourages attendees to come with questions and skepticism.
