Accessibility

Welcome to the University of Vermont’s Office of Accessibility Services website, your central hub for accessibility resources and support. This site is designed to provide students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the broader UVM community with easy access to programs, services, and information that promote inclusion and ensure equitable participation in all aspects of campus life.

Mission

The Office of Accessibility Services ensures an inclusive, accessible environment where all members of the UVM community can fully participate. We provide accommodations, services, and initiatives that promote equity, remove barriers, and support a campus culture of belonging in alignment with the ADA and Section 504.

Vision

OAS envisions a campus where accessibility is embedded in all aspects of university life, empowering individuals with disabilities to thrive without barriers. We aim to lead in accessibility through continuous improvement, universal design, and a culture that prioritizes inclusion.
