Medical Student Scholarships
There are two major sources of University of Vermont College of Medicine scholarships:
Need based scholarships
- Awarded strictly on the basis of financial need. In order to qualify, students must provide parent information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and complete the FAFSA by the priority funding deadline (the last day of February preceding the fall semester).

Outside Opportunities
In addition, there are variety of service oriented scholarships for medical students that will pay full tuition and fees, books and supplies, plus a monthly stipend for living expenses while the student is enrolled. Read contact information for each one of these programs.
Outside scholarship assistance is perhaps the largest source of potential funding for students. The best resources for exploring these scholarships are bookstores and libraries.
