Course requirements: 1 homework set per week (2-4 hours), 1-2 chapters per week,1 midterm and 1 final exam
Exams will be multiple choice questions plus extended answer questions that might include an essay, drawing graphs or working out mathematical problems. The couse uses a significant amount of mathematics. Excel or other spreadsheet skills are highly desirable. All homework is to be completed on line in MyEconLab. Your grade will be the highest score your receive before the homework assignment expires, after which you will no longer be able to access the problem set for the week. Homework sets will expire Friday night at midnight of the week during which the chapter(s) are assigned. It is highly advisable to read the relevant chapter the before the week begins. The final exam is comprehensive and will last only 1 hour and 15 mins, the same as the midterm.

Homework 33 percent
Midterm 33 percent
Final 33 percent
