Our Reach

The Watershed Alliance operates out of the University of Vermont’s Rubenstein Ecosystem Science Laboratory on the Waterfront in Burlington, and Green Mountain College’s Office of Service Learning and Sustainability in Poultney.  We work with secondary school students and teachers throughout the State of Vermont, but most are located in the Lake Champlain Basin.  Since the Watershed Alliance’s inception 10 years ago, we have connected with over 50 schools across the state.  With the addition of the Green Mountain College Watershed Alliance program, we look forward to expanding our reach in the South Lake region.  Use our interactive watershed map to view participating schools geographically.
