Vermont Interdisciplinary Leadership Education for Health Professionals (VT-ILEHP)

Who Should Apply?

This training may be right for you if:

  • You are a graduate or doctoral  student with a vision for leadership
  • A community professional seeking to advance your career year toward leadership
  • You are interested in skill development in the field  of neurodevelopmental disabilities  including autism
  • Evidence-based practice is a skill and standard to which you aspire
  • You wish to gain understanding, experience and  skill in influencing policies impacting children, families and service providers

The disciplines being considered for traineeships/fellowships include:

  • Audiology
  • Education/Special Education/Early Childhood Special Education
  • Family Support
  • Nursing
  • Nutrition
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Pediatrics
  • Physical Therapy
  • Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Speech Language Pathology

The VT-ILEHP Program is a collaborative effort of the University of Vermont, the Vermont Department of Health CSHN/Title 5 Programs, the Center for Disability and Community Inclusion, Vermont Family Network and local health agencies.
