Autism Spectrum DisordersAutism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) clinical focus area includes:
- ASD Differential Diagnosis Training and Tools: The Autism Diagnosis Observation Scale (ADOS) and Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI-R) three day trainings are provided. Working throughout the academic year, an intervention plan is designed and implemented by the trainee/fellow. Intervention may occur in the home, in childcare or EEE settings.
- Community Training on ASD intervention: Working collaboratively with other ASD trainee/fellows, a PowerPoint presentation is developed on a specific ASD intervention. Each trainee/fellow will provide one training in their community on this intervention.
