Vermont

  • The Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund has unveiled the Vermont Biofuels Initiative: Supply Side website that follows the progression of State Line Biofuels in becoming Vermont's first fully operational on-farm biodiesel production facility. The State Line Farm in Shaftsbury, VT provides a case study of small-scale biodiesel production in New England. The site provides a timeline of the three-year process including videos of canola and sunflower harvests, as well as a list of the supporting funders.
  • The Vermont Rural Energy Council, part of the larger entity Vermont Concil on Rural Development, produced a report in August 2007 entitiled Strengthening Vermont's Energy Economy (pdf).
