Example: If you are a NON-TENURED FACULTY member with a 12 month appointment, are age 55 with 25 years of service as of October 1, 2000 and earn $50,000 per year, you will receive $33,650.00 (before taxes***) in voluntary separation incentive wages.
* Post-retirement benefits and a grandparented health care premium are only available to those age 50 or older
(bridging required from age 50 to 55)
** Mandatory minimum years of full-benefits eligible service to qualify for voluntary separation.
*** All voluntary separation incentive wages are subject to federal and state taxes, social security and medicare.
