| Artist Sabra Field created the poster for Vermont Archaeology Week 1999. Well-known for her woodcuts, she designed the popular 1991 Vermont bicentennial stamp. The geometric designs overlaid on the brilliantly colored landscape were adapted by Ms. Field from those on a Northeastern Indian (possibly Abenaki) birch bark basket.
