The following pages are devoted to bringing you, the archaeo-phile, information about the events scheduled throughout the week of September 21-27. This is the grand debut of the Vermont Archaeology Week web site and we hope that it will provide an easy and accessible media for planning your week's activities. The navigational bar below will provide you access to the 1997 Calendar of Events, Ongoing Exhibitions and an image of this year's Vermont Archaeology Week Poster by Kathleen Kolb. This site is an adaptation from the VAW 1997 brochure. If you are have any problems of a technical or contextual nature, or if you have any comments or suggestions we would love to hear from you. Email us!

Thanks!

The Vermont Archaeological Society, Inc. and the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation express their gratitutde to the small army of volunteers who help organize superb events, participate in fundraising and auction donation drives, distribute products widely, and fearlessly publicize the activities. Vermont Archaeology Week would not take place without their help.
