Nouveau Flint-Knapping
Addison County resident Langdon Smith recreates the ancient art of stone tool manufacture through glass. Watch how he keeps an ancient art alive, enables archaeologists to understand prehistoric stone tool technology, and helps to preserve endangered stone quarry sites. Manufacture of reproductions also reduces artifact trafficking from Vermont's unique archaeological sites and recycles modern glass.
