Vermont Heritage Network: Historic Architecture

Woodstock Historic District

Long a favorite summer resort and near the site of the first ski tow in the U.S., the district illustrates harmonious development over nearly two centuries. It includes a wide variety of architecturally outstanding buildings for residential, commercial, and public use. A number of the buildings surround a tree-shaded elliptical green.
