South Woodstock Village Historic District

Most of the buildings in South Woodstock, a small early industrial village, date from before the Civil War. Its early prosperity is reflected in its stylish Federal and Greek Revival buildings, including a number of handsome brick houses, an 1825 school that became a Grange Hall, the 1839 Greek Revival style South Chapel, and the 1848 Perkins Academy.
