West Dover Village Historic District

The village of West Dover developed around an early mill complex that began with a saw mill and later expanded to include a fulling mill, clothier's works, grist mill, and potashery. Buildings in the district date from circa 1805 to 1885, and include the old school, church, village store, and a Greek Revival style inn with a striking 2-story recessed porch.
