Vermont Heritage Network: Historic Architecture

Pittsford Green Historic District

The district includes 33 commercial, religious, residential and public buildings which surround the triangular village green. Most were built during the 19th century and represent styles of the period. Development of marble quarries, woolen mills, and the manufacture of iron stoves spurred development of the community.
