Williston Village Historic District

Thomas Chittenden, an original settler of Williston, was the first Governor of Vemont. The historic district includes several Greek Revival and Federal-style buildings constructed during the 19th century, when the community's economy was dominated by agriculture. The Town Hall, Grange Hall, and the Congregational Church are among the notable buildings.
