After his years as a Revolutionary War hero, Ethan
Allen settled on 1400 acres of farmland along the Winooski River.
His farmhouse and a portion of the land are owned by the Winooski
Valley Park District. The property serves a variety of recreational
uses and the farmhouse has been restored. Admission. (Off North
