Dr. B.J. Kendall, a local pharmacist, became a wealthy man after discovering a remedy Òparticularly beneficial to horses affected with the infirmity commonly called Ôspavin .Ó Kendall contributed to many civic improvements, including the Enosburg Opera House. Built in 1892, it is used for public meetings and performing arts. (Routes 105 and 108)
