Restored and operated as a Town Museum by the Black River Historical Society, the Academy houses a museum dedicated to the history of education in Ludlow, including a re-created 1890 s schoolroom. Collection includes Black River Academy memorabilia, material related to Calvin Coolidge (who attended the Academy as a youth, and 19th-century furnishings and costumes. Open seasonally. Donations.
