Big Discoveries Made Possible During Eclipses

Mar 25, 2024
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Davis Center 417/419 (Livak Ballroom)

Interesting things happen close to the Sun. Before spaceflight, we could only hope to view them in the daytime when the sun came up, but the sky was usually too bright.

Join UVM's own John Perry to learn how several extraordinary discoveries were made during total solar eclipses when the sky gets darks enough for us to view our Sun, and those efforts will continue this April.
