UVM for Vermont
The UVM Community has been actively involved in Irene-related relief efforts.At this time there are no upcoming UVM volunteer dates. For other volunteer opportunities please refer to VTResponse or the United Way.
Take a look at some of the many ways students, faculty, and staff have gotten involved.
On Saturday, October 22 over 80 volunteers from the UVM community joined over 1,000 other Vermonters in the statewide VT Clean Up Day. Check out details of the day's events in UVM Today. Learn more about the organization process for UVM's part in the VT Clean Up Day here.
Two additional volunteers were organized in November, sending over 75 volunteers to the Salvation Army in Rutland, the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf and ReSOURCE in Burlington.
