- By Stephanie M. Burns
If you are healthy and do not currently have, nor have had, cancer, you may qualify for this research study.
This study is being conducted at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine to understand how cancer and its treatment affect the size and function of skeletal muscle in patients' legs. To do this, we also need to study healthy individuals without cancer.
You may be eligible if you:
- are 40-80 years old;
- have not had a hip or knee replacement; and
- do not have exercise limitations related to peripheral artery disease.
Two study visits are required and participants may receive up to $450 in compensation.
