The UVM Transportation Research Center (TRC) offers a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Transportation Systems and Planning and provides support to graduate students in a wide range of disciplines pursuing studies in the transportation field through the TRC UTC Scholar Research Assistantship program . Students also have received funding directly through faculty-lead research projects as research assistants.
The UVM Transportation Research Center (TRC) brings together graduate students from colleges across the university to study and research different aspects of the transportation system. The TRC also directs and funds interdisciplinary research projects, graduate student research assistantships and transportation courses.
"At the Transportation Research Center, researchers from various fields and studies have influenced my thinking about transportation. My perception is no longer restricted to its original purpose of moving people and things around, but to connect it with everything else, including air quality, economics, policy and the quality of people's lives."
"I am excited to be a new addition to the TRC research group. I love working in multi-disciplinary environments and researching important issues which are relevant to our everyday lives. The TRC provides me with exactly these opportunities. "
