The Night the Vampire Came Out

By Omar and Maggie

It was a dark and stormy night. Dapa, the vampire, was getting ready to suck the blood of Omar and Maggie. There was just one problem, though. Dapa's fangs had not fully grown in, and he just had little teeth.

"Whew," said Omar, thinking that this meant that he and Maggie were safe.

But Dapa got mad, and all of a sudden his teeth started growing more and more. He had red eyes and big crazy fangs that were the size of his body.

"Oh, no! We're in big trouble!" cried Omar.

"Now I'm going to cry a lot!" said Maggie.

Dapa kept getting closer and closer, and the only thing that Maggie and Omar could think to do was grab a giant toothbrush and brush his teeth. Then Omar and Maggie started running
and Dapa the Vampire flew behind them. Maggie kept crying, and Omar said, "Stop crying, Maggie! We're going to get saved!"

And Maggie replied, "I'm not crying, Omar. You think that just because I'm a girl, I'm always crying!"

Omar said, "Fine, you're not crying, but we gotta get out here! We better get running because Dapa, the vampire, is getting closer and closer!"

Just then Dapa swooped down upon Maggie and Omar, but instead of sucking their blood, he said, "Do you have any toothpaste because I want to freshen up before I suck your blood."

"Sure," said Omar, handing Dapa a giant tube of poisonous toothpaste.

Dapa brushed his teeth with the poisonous toothpaste. It made his teeth shrink back down into baby teeth, and then he ran away to where he came from.
