One fine April day in New Haven, Connecticut. A beautiful woman had a little baby girl named Katherine. This girl began her journey through life on April 7, 1989. Fifteen months later her sister Stephanie was born. Katherine turned three and had a wonderful party. She had a bunny cake. A few months later, Katherine's mom would get married to the man she would call dad. Katherine moves away from the house she lived in since she was a baby. She moved to Old Saybrook, Connecticut. They're her journey through life would begin.

    One day in August, Katherine waited excitedly for her school bus. It was her first day of kindergarten. She got on the bus and waved good-bye to her family that she would leave behind. When she gets to her classroom wearing her pink shirt and denim overalls, Katherine starts to meet new people and makes friends. During recess Katherine meets a boy named Josh, he would become her best friend. Kindergarten passes by and Josh and Katherine are in the first grade now. They are still best friends.

    Till a horrible day comes and Katherine is going to move away, far away to Vermont. She tries all she could to change it; Katherine even said that she wouldn't go. No use. Her dad picked her up and buckled her in the car. Katherine and her family were on their way. Katherine thought she was going to die from the separation.

    Katherine and her family arrive in Vermont and Katherine hates it, no snow days, no Josh. What would she do without Josh? Katherine got a new friend named Laura. She gave Katherine a new name Katie. Wow! Katie thought a new name, a new friend. Maybe this new place isn't that bad.

    Seven years passed and Katie is now in 8th grade, she is 13 years old. And she been through a lot, friends coming and going and boyfriends here and there. But, one boy named Ryan; Katie would soon learn that he would change her live. Katie fell in love with him. They both went to King Street. They went mounting biking together, and did Kids Cafe at King Street. They became boyfriend and girlfriend, over the summer. But, she would be moving to Bristol, Vermont in December. Katie asked her self, why me oh why me? Not now please not now. Nothing could stop it, the descion was final. She said good-bye to Ryan.

    So Katie moves and her live goes on and she meets new people, but she has a broken heart. Katie then realizes that she must move on. She became best friends with a boy named Jay. They both were on the track and field team. And basketball team too. They spent a lot of time together. Almost every month they went to the movies. On a beautiful spring evening, Jay asked Katie to go out with him. Katie said yes. Jay and Katie became boyfriend and girlfriend. But, Katie really didn't want to fall in love again, what if her heart was broken again.

    Graduation day soon came and Jay and Katie were going to college, but different ones. Katie would be going to UCONN and Jay would be going to UVM. Katie didn't know that Jay changed colleges to be with her. Katie joined the Navy and hoped that war would not come. After three years in college Jay and Katie got married. Ten years later they had two kids named Ryan and Laura.
